teaches you that you just have to
put things out in the universe and
the world will absolutely tell you if
you’ve struck a chord.
Tell me about the One Funny
Mother show. Is this the same
show you did Off-Broadway?
It is. It’s our Off-Broadway show
that we are now able to tour
around the country. It started
out as my stand-up and slowly
morphed into this one woman
show all about motherhood and
feeling like you’re going crazy af-
ter having kids. In the beginning, I
just wanted to make people laugh,
but I started to realize that what we
were talking about and not having
women feel like they’re alone and
have to be perfect - all of these
things were messages that again
struck a chord with our audience.
I used to think I was just funny in
Jersey and then you start to travel
all over the world and you start to
realize - even with our videos - that
motherhood is universal. And feel-
