and everything was too high. So
what we decided to do was come
up with a new non-profit and put
all that community theater stuff in
that box. We can do it the way we
want to do it and hopefully do it
a little more effectively through a
non-profit because we would be
able to get grant money.”
2019 FALL PREVIEW

musicians, start-up theater groups,
playwrights, and independent art-
ists who need a presenting space
but can’t afford one. Flashwright
is dedicated to being a platform
that is a bridge between creative
artists and audiences of all ages
to facilitate an active exchange of
ideas, stories, and a passion for
live performance.
One of the most intriguing as-
pects of Flashwright involves
seniors. Over the years, Riddles-
brood has been approached by
many senior centers and assisted
living centers to provide entertain-
ment because their seniors cannot
go to shows due to mobility issues.
