‘Hear Her Roar’, a multi-genre
performance collective directed
by NJPAC’s
Daryl Stewart will celebrate the
festival theme, ‘Year of The Wom-
en’ at Newark Symphony Hall
with a narration provided by FX
network POSE’s MJ Rodriguez.
Festival Title Sponsor Prudential
will screen their inspiring film on
financial empowerment and en-
trepreneurship, Legacy Lives On,
followed by a talkback of industry
professionals at 3rd Space.
Guided tours are a focus this
year, including the Murals and
Mojitos Public Art Tour, a VIP
guided bus tour of all the best
public art all around the city
and the Brown Girls Art Crawl, a
guided walking tour of the best
art happenings (while sampling
cocktails and eats at restaurant/
lounges) throughout the city on
foot.
