MPAC has come over the past
25 years,” said Allison Larena,
Mayo Performing Arts Center’s
President and CEO.  “As a leading
non-profit performing arts center
in our region, we are profoundly
grateful for all of the incredible
support we’ve received from our
community who rallied behind
this theatre to transform it from a
boarded-up facility to an anchor
arts and cultural institution in
New Jersey.“
The anniversary season opens
September 13 with a performance
by American Idol alum Katharine
McPhee. Season highlights in-
clude touring productions of the
Broadway hits RENT, Finding Nev-
erland and Bandstand; superstar
singers Audra McDonald, Darlene
Love, Paul Anka, as well as con-
temporary artists such as Gavin
DeGraw, Daughtry and a unique
concert – “It Was Fifty Years Ago
Today,” a tribute to The Beatles’
White Album performed by Todd
Rundgren, Christopher Cross,
Micky Dolenz and others.
