When asked if she has any per-
sonal favorites among the perform-
ing arts center’s offerings, Larena
replied, “I am a Broadway buff, so
of course I am thrilled by our the-
atre series and the spectacle of the
touring Broadway productions. I
personally enjoy how eclectic all
of our programming is – from cel-
ebrated singers such as Katharine
McPhee and Audra McDonald
to legendary rock and roll art-
ists. Our schedule boasts so many
wonderful and diverse programs
for children and adults. Being a
performing arts center allows us
the flexibility to present an inter-
national orchestra one day, a free
movie the next, and a large dance
production after that. There truly is
something here for everyone.”
The schedule is rounded out
with films and their stars, such as
Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan with
William Shatner; Harlem 100, a
celebration of the Harlem Renais-
sance; New Jersey Ballet’s annual
Nutcracker and so much more. A
