Cloverport Homemakers Christmas Bazaar Saturday, December 5th 10 a.m. (ct) to 2 p.m. (ct). Cloverport City Hall There will be plenty of handmade crafts, soup, sandwiches and delicious desserts available for purchase. Irvington Friendly Homemakers Supporting Our Veterans The Irvington Friendly Club is accepting donations of personal care items such as shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste and tooth brushes for United States Men and Women Veterans. They are also accepting snack crackers, water and juice boxes. Donations may be dropped off at the Extension Office or given to a club member. This is an ongoing project. Holiday Card Making & Scrapbooking The Paper Crafters Club would like to invite everyone out for fun Tuesday nights of scrapbooking and card making. The following dates have been set to work on Christmas cards and scrapbook projects. Tuesday, November 17th, Tuesday, December 1st & Tuesday, December 15th The fun will start at 6 p.m. (ct) each Tuesday in the Basement of the Extension Office. An $8 fee covers paper supplies, equipment and refreshments. Bring pictures and your scrapbook. Proceeds from the booth will be to benefit the Kenneth Dowell Family Christmas Parade Schedule Irvington Parade Saturday, November 21st 5 p.m. (ct) Hardinsburg Parade Saturday, November 28th 5 p.m. (ct) Cloverport Parade Tentative Date All Youth Kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate in the 2016 Kentucky Saves Week Piggy Bank Contest This is a creative way for youth to learn the importance of saving money and reducing debt. There will be local and district winners. All a youth has to do to participate is submit an original piggy bank and entry form to the Extension Office by close of business on Monday, November 30th.
