A NOTE FROM THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS...
Welcome to Artomatic@Frederick 2016! This is the third Artomatic
event held in the City of Frederick. This year’s event features both new
and returning artists, performers, workshops, and special events for the
entire family.
The mission of Artomatic is to strengthen our community both economically
and socially by providing an artistic playground to showcase local and
regional artists in the areas of visual art, performing art, music, written
and spoken word, dance and film. The show also includes artists from
our local high schools, colleges, and community organizations.
We truly appreciate the tremendous support we have received from the
community and our local sponsors (including the Chevy Chase area) without
whom much of this would not have been possible. Because of the hard
work and dedication of our Artomatic volunteers, this year’s event is by far
the most robust. We have many more events and activities planned for this
year than in the previous events.
We offer our sincerest gratitude to all the artists and volunteers who spent
endless hours to help us make this event another resounding success.
Please stop by and experience Artomatic for yourself. We encourage
everyone to support all the talented artists, performers, and businesses
that made this event possible!
