This work is known as soft watches or melted
clocks. Some of his favorite images in other paintings are
present in this work.
Dali painted three watches, two soft and one hard.The hard is
upside down so you do not see the time. However the soft if
you can see the time and see two different hours that
imply the psychology of time. For Dalí, the clocks represent
the memory that at some point of your life ends.
