Madhurima, ECE 2013-17 Batch, is one
among our Ex-EB. She now pursues art
as a passion and as a sub career apart
from being an Application Developer,
working at Sotecore Technology.
She recently had been awarded as one of
the best emerging artists from Hyderabad
by Prafullah Dahanukar Foundation,
Mumbai. She was one among the Jury for
Balakalakaar Competitions, AIESEC, in
Nov, 2018.
She is a master in portraits, knife, sand, tanjore paintings and
sketches using different mediums like oil, acrylic, water, pencil,
charcoal and graphite. She now started conducting art workshops.
Reminiscing her memories in GNITS, in her words,"I was very shy girl
and never expressed my artistic skills to anyone. But, it was because
of Mr. Sai Prasad Vishwanathan, Sahasra Workshop and Dr. P.
Aparna madam, that I broke my shell. I still remember people who
don’t even know me, talking in front of me, about me and praising my
art. There were lecturers who don’t know me but took my name in
different classes and appreciated my paintings. I can just say my
college had given me much enthusiasm, spirit and lots of appreciation
to my artworks. Love GNITS!"
She conveys to her juniors to celebrate art and engage in thoughtful
discussions about the perspectives of arts. She believes, it increases
our knowledge about art and in turn life! and according to her, Artista
is the right platform for it.
One of her feathers in cap during her B.Tech., in 2014, is that, she
was selected from 2 lakh applicants, to be part of Meelo Evaru
Koteeshwarudu. She presented
Mr. Nagarjuna, a potrait.
