"Side by side, by their abstract, geometric shapes,
by the linear and colored graphics the ceramic
pieces of Fábrica Aleluia and the drawings of Bruno
Castro Santos seem to share a common space. But
these affinities, despite formal echoes, are illusory.
It is not that there are no correspondences between
the two; it is, however, not of similarities, but of
complementarities, of ways of extracting the forms
of the world - etymologically, the word abstract
comes from the Latin abs-trahere, which means
separated, by force, from the concrete space.
That is precisely what art does. "
