I definitely learned this night not to judge immediately and just wait for what is to come.
It was definitely better than I expected. The sketches were recognisable and therefore
very funny. Also the attitudes of the men were so happy and excited that they had a
positive influence on my mood. Furthermore I was very impressed by the fact that each
of these gentlemen could play several instruments inter alia the accordion, guitar, bass,
drums, piano and lots more. I also liked it because I thought it was original. Usually you
just have the comedian or just the band but they combined music, sketches (dress up for
grown-ups) and stories and that with the five of
them. They affectively got the audience involved by
the old songs but also by cynical show business
moves like ‘Apeldoorn is great’ – I’m surprised those
still work- which was quite funny. In the end when
everyone thought they had finished and left the
stage, they quite surprisingly came back again to let
us applaud some more, afterwards my hands were
sore of all the clapping that night.
