From thoughts to execution
In the first lesson we sat together and thought about what we should make. We didn’t have a
clue, since the assignment was very open. Our first idea was to take four pictures in which we
would wear different clothes matching the season. However, suddenly Cindel came with the idea
to make something with letters, in which we would include our own pictures. We decided to
make four posters (each poster with its own specific season colour) and to spell the letters of the
season with our own spring, summer, autumn and winter pictures. During the process, we came
to the idea to perk up the poster with materials or creations particular for each season. This is
why we used sand for the summer poster, leaves for the autumn poster, cotton pads (as snow)
for winter and a ladybug for spring. Next to that, whilst we were searching for appropriate
pictures, we found an ‘’eye’’ in the style of every season, so this is what we used on the right top
of the poster.
