Picture 2: Depiction of internal frieze
The creators of Parthenon "broke" the rigidity of the straight line and did not
comply with the mathematical relations in order to give liveliness to the
construction. The pillar was carved in a way, due to which the pillar was a bit
taller in the centre than at the edges, and the pillars became a bit wider in the
centre. The pillars were leaning to inside, but so lightly that they would converge
in the same point only in distance 1600 meters above the temple.
