Growing up in New Mexico, Linda constantly found herself working in the plant nursery business. Linda said,“ I enjoy being with plants, I just love it.” She moved to Arizona where she met her husband Glen on a blind date. Glen was born in Canada. His father was struck with terrible arthritis and was advised by his doctor that moving to Arizona would relieve his pain. Thankfully with the help from their local church, Glen and his family were given U. S. Citizenship and moved to Phoenix, AZ. Glen also found himself drawn to the nursery field and he had a dream of opening up his own nursery.
After Linda and Glen got married they moved to Payson, AZ and fulfilled their lifelong dream of opening the Plant Fair Nursery. They are very thankful to Ronnie McDaniel, Mayor of Star Valley, AZ, and his family for leasing them a property to start their business. Thanks to their help they were able to make enough money to buy a permanent lot to expand their nursery business.
Linda’ s fellow friends in the nursery business shared how successful their gift shops were so she decided to give it a try. Linda added a gift shop to their nursery 10 years ago. Little did she realize that she was supporting a local artist.
