Science Fiction, Double Feature...

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a horror, comedy, science fiction, cult classic film directed by Jim Sharman.

This 1975 midnight feature musical film is based off the original 1973 musical production. The story follows the unfortunate path of a young, newly engaged couple whose car breaks down on the route to their college professor's house. In the wake of a thunderstorm, they decide to approach a nearby castle to ask for their telephone. Upon entering the estate, they are thrown for a loop between the overwhelming amount of synchronized musical numbers, a seductive transvestite host, and his three outlandish companions.

The most iconic song from the film is "Time Warp," which was written, produced, and performed by Richard Hartley, as well as performed by the rest of the cast. "Give yourself over to absolute pleasure" and check out the clip below featuring the film performance of "Time Warp"!
