step inside , creating a contemplative inner space that allowed the inhabitants to observe themselves and their surroundings . And yet , once inside , the viewer wasn ' t alone . A present absence was strongly felt , as the work encased an imprint of the first dweller of this cell , thus inviting the sensitive resident to share my space .
