large scale paintings and drawings that
draw one in from a distance, or tiny
intimate works one would want to hold
or come very close to in order to fully
experience. I often indulge in my love
for tiny, unexpected details to reward
the most scrupulous of viewers who will
take the time to find them.
I’m making work about various aspects
of personal relationship, both visually
and conceptually, that I feel
subsequently evoke empathy with the
viewer's own unique human experience
on some level. As a stand in for the
inner self, I often think about the scale
of the organic forms in my work and
their interaction to the viewer’s own
body in terms of size. I enjoy immersive
