to use. Music is also important part of
performance but type of music is always
different so I don’t have any special album or
composition. This is also a part of emotional
approach. So I take red simply because it
resonates with my internal sounds and
emotions. I add blue because my emotions are
saying this is the right color to add. This is
really about resonance between what I have
inside and outside that includes pieces of
sounds, music, melodies that are finally
transforming into combination of colors. I don’t
even try to mix colors outside of canvas again
simply because what I create is within this
white piece of canvas.

emotions because I want to share something
very positive with my viewers. And this is
important to me. If you take my work I really
want you to get a source of positive energy in
your home. I accept responsibility of having
part of my soul in your house and that’s why I
don’t want my art works to create any
interference with you atmosphere. It should
bring harmony between your world, your
emotions, your home and I just add little thing
that amplifies all these elements.
You know for me it looks like I take something
very special inside me and it is transforming
into spikes of tones, nuances and pieces and
textures. Colors would be different as a result
of this approach. You may find a lot of
combinations in my art works some of them
can be unusual probably but I don’t use
particular color if it brings any dissonance in
the way how I want to express emotions. And
to be honest with you I really feel this type of
vibration that either triggers adding new color
or stops me from making any further changes.
I think what I try to achieve with my art works
is all about sharing something very positive
with people. While creating new painting I may
spend hours to get the final result of just half
an hour but the main criteria for me to keep
specific art work is to achieve ideal balance
between what I have inside and final result on
canvas. When emotional vibration is purely
transforming into combination of colors and
forms and I feel balance then I keep it.
Many times I have heard feedback from people
that my paintings have very strong emotional
context and they feel it very well. So basically I
really want to share something very positive
with those who are taking my art works and
put them at home. This is so much personal
and sensitive situation when you put
someone’s painting in your house or home.
Literally you bring someone’s emotion and
probably most people want to get positive
energy. It looks like you put a photo of you
parents or kids on the wall and it gives you
positive memories when you look at that.
I am very interested to look around and
understand other ways of expressing emotions.
I find ideas of Mark Rothko who brought idea of
color fields to life quite resonating to modern
world. Also such artists like Jackson Pollock and
Yves Klein give me quite interesting impulse
and food for thoughts.
At the same time there are a few critical
elements that I would like to highlight. First of
all I wouldn’t call my works abstractionism. I do
use term Emotional Painting that describes the
way how I express emotions. Obviously you
may find some abstracts but this is one of the
ways of expressing emotions. And second, in
my paintings I concentrate very positive
I see my role in sharing positive with people
and energizing them to make good things or
may be just to feel better because of this
source of energy. I do believe that this is so
