An interview by and , curator curator WOULD YOU LIKE THAT HERE WE PUBLISH A PHOTO OF YOU? I majored in illustration but I always felt I wasn’t in the right direction for my career. Illustration is a universal image, which is more close to visual design. The imagery in illustration should make sense to everyone at a first glance, and it’s usually for delivering messages to promote things such as products and services. What I wanted to achieve in my art was exploring the human nature and sharing them with the viewers. I’m still in the process of developing my art in a way of breaking the styles Yirang Kim that I had since I was in school, and going back to my childhood art where I was more free in expressing my inner world. 4 04 Special Issue
