tradition, I think this is the normal,

ART Habens
It’s strange how I’ve became to put
the bright colours first!
In my country the reversed glass
painting has been used for centuries
to paint icons and to ilustrate
mystical stories and lores. So using
the traditional technique helps me
create the patina that draws the
viewer back in time.
The same like item 3 – the mystery
of life itself.
When I chose my materials I always
look for a special warmness. I love
glass because it has its own life, and,
in a subtle way, as I’ve already said,
it catches the glimpse of strange
worlds and mystical times. The ink
and the oils, mixed up with bronze,
complete the sense of past and
present together, as if each work
opens a secret gate to another life...
Definitelly the inner self. Just that
the inner self is reflected in and
reflected by the everyday
experiences. An example: afew
years ago my son falled in love with
a girl he knew on the internet. She
lived 500 km away and he took the
train to meet her. I did not know all
these things (my son’s was
attending the University and he was
living in another town). That morning
I’ve just seen the link on his
messenger status. And it was a song
written by Magnetic Fields and
played by Peter Gabriel: “The Book
of Love”
