ART-ERY is an art and literary journal produced by the Humanism in Medicine
Club of Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Dublin, made
possible by contributions from students and faculty from all three campuses. .
Our hope is to celebrate the often hidden, artistic side of numerous members of our
OUHCOM family. Art allows us to appreciate individuality, but it also gives us the
ability to draw bridges to understand one another’s perspective and celebrate our
shared role as human beings. The integration of art and medicine further allows us
to find a poetic beauty in our otherwise black and white world. We hope you enjoy
the selections featured in our Summer 2017 issue.
