What do you want people to know about your
writing or your life?
JORDAN SCHNITZER
All I have ever wanted to do was make a positive difference
in the world. It’s why I worked as a newspaper reporter,
taking poor wages for more than thirty years, and
it’s why I write fiction now.
My only regret in life is that when I was young, I
prioritized marriage and security over my education.
After reading my answer to your first question, people
may think that I hate men, but the opposite is true:
my best friend of 33 years is a man (Rich Myers, in
Montana) and he has never bored me for even a tiny
moment. The sad fact is that I love men too much, as
you’ll see in my upcoming autofiction series, “I’ve Had a
String of Men.”
