T
hough she has produced art for more than 20 years,
she has only been showing since 2007. “Artists work
hard to get to the point where they approve of their
paintings.” Some Facebook posts say reworked in the
title, to show Nora is an artist with an eye for fine details.
There’s an indescribable quality about Nora’s work. Each
piece is like looking at home, even though it is actually
her former hometown near Seaton’s Grove. Time stands
still in each painting, and suddenly life seems a little less
complicated, dare I say, peaceful.

and for most.
Head downtown to celebrate the creativity of local artists and
enjoy free refreshments while you mingle with friends old and
new. Find participating locations at downtownspokane.org, and
make plans to see it first, hear it first, and taste it first.
Though she taught herself to paint, you don’t have to.
Nora is going to start teaching classes from her studio.
“I want to pass the knowledge I’ve acquired along and
help others channel their creative energy,” because, as
she points out, “Creating is the most natural thing in the
world. Everyone is creative.”

of the work, is evident in each unique completed piece of art. Debbie is a Master Emeritus
Member of Woman Artists of the West and a Signature Member of several other national
organizations.
