T
o give you an idea of just how spacious it is, Jimmy explained that
the room’s dimensions measure 40 feet in length by 30 feet in width
by 16 feet in height. That’s 1,200 square feet of clear floor area which
can comfortably accommodate large ensembles, choirs, big bands,
electric and acoustic groups of any size right down to solo performers,
either vocally or instrumentally. Every surface of the non-parallel
walls (intentionally designed to avoid unwanted reflected sounds) and
high ceiling is acoustically treated to ensure a perfectly balanced and
“neutral” acoustic quality. In addition, the studio is equipped with
large moveable sound-absorbing panels, which can be arranged in
various configurations, to create different “virtual” spaces within the
room as required.
