The gallery ’ s walls are filled with impressionist paintings that mimic its surroundings : Northwest landscapes . Boris “ Bill ” Garibyan , creator of these paintings and anchor artist at the gallery , describes that the “ variety of the Northwest ” makes for endless unique landscapes to paint . Garibyan has certainly demonstrated this in his over 20-year artisan career .
From the lowest of valleys to the highest of mountaintops , Garibyan has captured the Northwest with an impressionistic brush . His work “ Yellow Field ’’ depicts a foreground field of yellow flowers that look as if the flowers were handpicked and delicately glued into the material of the canvas , due to their painted texture . Likewise , Garibyan ’ s “ Sawtooth ” captures the Sawtooth Mountain Range located in the Boise National Forest .
