This debut live broadcast was eagerly and enthusiastically received and welcomed by music-hungry audiences not only locally but all around the world . Thanks to the Internet , YouTube and Facebook Live , the music was delivered and enjoyed safely on televisions , computers , tablets and smartphones simultaneously .
In between their successive live online broadcasts , the band is always busy in “ The Tank ” studio working on new song material which includes several original compositions . To maintain their constant supply of live music throughout this “ entertainment drought ” S . H . C . has established their own YouTube channel titled “ S . H . C . BAND TV ” and regularly adds new songs to the channel to keep it fresh and relevant . They encourage you to please visit their channel and ask kindly that you subscribe , hit like , and ring the alert bell so that you ’ ll be automatically informed when new material is available on their channel . It ’ s all absolutely free and will help immensely in maintaining and moving this innovative project forward .
Now allow me to introduce the members of S . H . C . At the beginning of this article I mentioned musicians from legacy Spokane bands , and indeed three members of S . H . C .—
Kevin , Steve and Charles — have performed together in various bands for several decades and have recorded successful albums with their former band Madrigal .
Kevin Dodson , founder of S . H . C . is the band ’ s drummer , vocalist , musical director and sequencer producer . Steve Springer is S . H . C .’ s bass guitarist , vocalist and live sound and monitor director . Charles ( Chuck ) Swanson plays tenor , alto and soprano saxophones , flute , electronic wind synthesizer , sings vocals and plays percussion . Jerry Kreider , who has been with S . H . C . for almost four years , is the band ’ s guitarist and vocalist , sporting an arsenal of at least six electric guitars with various
