Enjoy Free Online Painting Classes With Jessica Bryant Shortly after our interview, the COVID-19 quarantine happened. In response to this, Jessica L Bryant has designed a free online paint- I wonder sometimes if it’s this, our usual pace of life with an abundance of stimulation and access to technology, that makes it hard for many people to enjoy spending more time in nature.  It can be an uncomfortable adjustment, but the benefits of slowing down for a while are well worth the effort.  M.J.: Interesting insight. Any advice for young artists in our community? Jessica: Enjoy making art, practice as much as you can, and keep finding ways to fit it in even when life gets busy. I have had so many older adult students who put art aside for much of their lives, and wish they hadn’t. If you want to pursue a career in art, it’s possible but be ready to work really hard, be humble enough to take opportunities to learn, and prepare to deal with a lot of rejection. It’s worth doing, regardless of your skill set. If you’d like to see more of Jessica L Bryant’s art you can find her at: The 153rd Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society at the historic Salmagundi Art Club in New York City, April 6–25, 2020 The Coeur d’Alene Artist’s Studio Tour June 6-7, 2020 Ongoing: The Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d’Alene Look for her at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) Art Fest and Art on the Green. along class.
