“ WE ’ RE ALL HERE ON BORROWED TIME .”
“ My son will never bug me about what I ’ m doing ; he just knows I ’ m going to work ,” she said . “ When I got home , I told him what I did and he was like , ‘ Oh my God , Mom ! And you didn ’ t tell me ?’ I just like to keep things on the down-low until after the fact .”
The series premiered on January 15th of this year .
With her recent casting in the HBO series , viewers would think that she has known about the videogame the show is based on , or is a fan of it . However , she doesn ’ t know anything about the game . Her son and nephews are fans of it though , and her role definitely caught her son ’ s attention .
Despite rumors that Elaine might have passed away a while ago , Elaine said she is very much alive . “ We ’ re all here on borrowed time ,” she shared in an interview from 1993 while discussing wisdom shared by her grandmother . When asked certain interview questions she confessed that her grandmother ’ s teachings frequently come to mind . She regularly recalls the verbal and physical lessons handed down to her from her family and adopted family . This education has helped shape who she is today . While she does not “ worry about what tomorrow may bring ,” as her grandmother used to remind , Elaine does hope to take on more roles in TV and film .
