The first three years of the program awarded $14,000 to 12 high school seniors. SVAC is not just for the visual and fine arts. All four not-for-profit arts organizations in the Inland Northwest have supportive events and networking opportunities year-round. Below are a listed few. Whether an artist is new to the Inland Empire scene, or a recognized mentor of their craft, art is a form of communication that captures the human condition. Art can bring people together, and the culture created by local arts organizations has adopted this philosophy. Support of and participation with our arts organizations strengthens the art community, as we move forward and present the growing collective talents in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
