Art Chowder: Sounds amazing! As you’re starting your
second half of life, what do you think is important to keep
you going to 120?
GINGER: I’ll just keep putting my hands to the clay.
Being thankful for what I have is most important,
finding humor when things are unexpected, and not
being alone! Loneliness can bring on all kinds of health
challenges. Sharing my passion in my studio brings people
to me, so it’s perfect.
Oh, and dancing! Dancing is VERY important to keep
me going because it incorporates everything, including
exercise. I recently went dancing with my granddaughter,
at The House of Soul, where we danced all night. It was so
good for my soul! Every now and again, I have had friends
help me take the furniture out of my living room. We hang
colorful lights, turn on music videos and have a dance
party. There is dancing in the studio too; I love to dance
while I’m working in clay — JUST DANCE!
