“ We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.” What a profound and true statement. We are intertwined into a fabric of community and the beauty is the diversity of our threads. This issue of Art Chowder is shining a light on relationships. There are many relationships that enhance and improve our lives every day.
We may never feel the impact of a relationship between an artist and her gallery partner but some of our friends will. We may take for granted the fruitful efforts of dedicated arts volunteers or the artwork we pass by everyday, but they deeply enrich our lives and that of our community.
Art Chowder is your magazine. Our relationship is with you. We strive to share the stories, businesses, and events that impact our lives in a positive and enjoyable way.
So, let’ s build a legacy of positive impact in our community. Let’ s build a wall of good. There are many stories to tell and issues to share and we invite you to participate. Do you have a story of an exceptional artist or“ not to miss” art event? How about an upcoming performance or an amazing experience at a dining establishment?
If you do, please feel free to explain in detail via a Word document( not just an email text, as they get lost)— attach and send it for review to: dean @ artchowder. com. We will not be able to include everyone as we only produce six issues per year but we will be happy to consider your stories for publication.
We look forward to hearing from you.
