When did you meet Leslie?
It was during this time that I met the gifted ceramic sculptor, Leslie Ahrens. I was immediately captivated by her dreamy ethereal sculptures of mystical goddesses that often had the functionality of a vase or piece that would hang on the wall.
What lead you to develop a business relationship with Leslie?
There was never a question whether I wanted her work or not, I wanted everything she had and more. And that stands as firmly today as it did back then.
What do you find most interesting about Leslie’ s work?
Her Goddess sculptures have a strong dose of depth and narrative freedom that makes each piece unique and personal. She is also capable of creating playful pieces, like her whimsical cats, that rarely stay in the gallery for more than a day before a cat lover spots them.
