et Lit ! Spokane ’ s literary festival will be returning ! I interviewed Kate Peterson , the Get Lit ! director , to find out what ’ s coming up for this year ’ s festival , which will be both in-person and on-line April 21st-24th , 2022 .
When I asked if there is a focus for the 2022 Festival , Kate said , “ Generally , the festivals don ’ t have specific themes beyond celebrating the power of the written word , starting important and timely conversations , and inspiring creativity . If this year could have an overall feeling it would be that we ’ re really looking forward to gathering again as a community , while still offering opportunities to participate for those who can ’ t join us in person .
