A favorite activity before the concert begins is the Spokane Symphony Petting Zoo which gives children a first hands- on introduction to the uniqueness of the different instrument families. The Spokane Symphony Labor Day Concerts’ sponsor STCU, the city staff of Liberty Lake, Kiwanis and Friends of Pavillion Park are all essential in making this event happen. Find information regarding the concert at: http://www.pavillionpark.org and http:// www.spokanesymphony.org The Spokane Valley Arts Council will be hosting the Spokane Symphony Petting Zoo at Valleyfest on September 21-22, 2019 in Mirabeau Park Meadows as part of Valleyfest 30th Anniversary Celebration. Valleyfest showcases three stages of FREE entertainment including Desja Eagle Tail, winner of the 2019 Native American Music Award for Best Country Song of the year “Never Let Me Go).” Desja Eagle Tail is able to perform due to an NEA Arts Grant from Washington State Arts Commission. Valleyfest begins with a Friday night parade on Sprague Avenue, and two days of dazzling fun at CenterPlace Regional Event Center and Maribeau Park Meadows. You will see the monumental bronzes on the grounds of CenterPlace donated by the Spokane Valley Arts Council.
