Allison McGree was born and raised in Big Sky country and much of her art is dedicated to capturing and sharing its unique and expansive beauty . Her work is lovingly inspired by her home state , her deep connection to its natural wonders , and her loved ones who reside there , past and present . Allison paints her experience of the natural vistas of her home , using acrylic to portray evocative imagery that allows viewers to both share in her wonder and love of nature and project their own experiences with iconic Montana landscapes . In doing so , she creates a strong connection between herself , the viewer , and a shared experience larger than them both .
