amily is important to Alice and
her daughters also make art. “When
my children were small I painted life-
sized Sesame Street characters on their
playroom walls. That was fun and the
kids loved it. I still love to do small
paintings of cute and colorful animals.
My grandson is one of my favorite
clients. When he was nine he asked if
he could purchase one of my dragon
pictures. When I asked how much he
wanted to pay he said he had $2.25. I
sold it to him because he was willing to
give me all the money he had. That was
two years ago and he still has it sitting
on his dresser.”
