Art Chowder: So where does your work
fit in?
helen: There isn’t really a single
category for what I do. My work crosses
over into different categories. I’m not
a spinner but I use locally sourced
wool and yarns that are hand-dyed. If
they’re not, I’ll dye them myself. I use
felting in some of my stuff, and quilting
techniques. I do sculptural things too.
