Good Times Ahead
Watching the growth happening in our Inland Northwest art and entertainment resources has
been nothing short of amazing! I regularly hear of artists enjoying very successful art shows
and venues bringing in packed crowds. This is largely due to the hard work and persistent
efforts of the arts associations, artists, galleries and those who have the passion to see a
vibrant arts community and volunteer their time. Kudos to all of you!
Art Chowder is seeing some changes as we continue to grow our presence around the
Northwest.
Beginning with this issue, you will find our latest feature called “Regional Report.” Our
regional arts associations have a lot to share with us and we want to give them a voice in Art
Chowder. Look for informative updates on upcoming events, interesting stories and more!
We have brought on a few new members to our sales team — Chelsea Cordova in Coeur
d’Alene and North Idaho, Molly Rice in Moscow/Pullman and Karen Conrad in Central and
Southern Idaho. We have also added professional musician and author Olivia Brownlee to
our writing team.
We are saddened to announce that our sales pro Ginny Brennan will be leaving us to pursue
another rewarding position here in Spokane. We wish her all the best and our eternal thanks
for her role in helping bring Art Chowder to the forefront in our region. We have some
interesting irons in the fire, as the right someone steps into her very hard-to-fill shoes…more
news on that soon.
Summer is here, and we have a lot going on in the Inland Northwest. We are looking
forward to filling up our schedules with good times and new friends.
Thank you,
Dean
