SPOKANE VALLEY ARTS COUNCIL
he Inland Northwest Dance
Association, established in 1991, is
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
dedicated to promoting the art of
dance in the Inland Northwest. INDA
members are studio owners, dance
educators, and supporters of dance as
an art form.
MSD Irish Dance Academy will
be dancing traditional infused Irish
dances as well as traditional step
routines at DanceFest 2019. Irish
step dancing is a unique form of
dance. In addition to being drenched
in beautiful history, it is an amazing
form of exercise. Irish dance utilizes
both fast and slow twitch muscles.
The dances are three to six minutes
of high intensity ballistic movements.

founded MSD Irish Dance Academy
in 2016, located in the revitalized
North Monroe business district of
Spokane.
Country Swing, LLC will perform
swing and line dancing to entertain
you.
LiteFeet will present a Latin dance
demonstration.
Silver Spurs International Youth
Folk Dancers learn and perform
cultural dances from all over the
world, as well as social dances of the
USA.
Stevens County Stompers will
have traditional and contemporary
clog dances to perform. They will
feature Hannah Johnson, two-time
national clogging champion.
