covered with their brisket gravy and a half pound of your choice of smoked meat . We chose the brisket and it ’ s served open-faced on two slices of Texas toast . The Heavy Hauler is five meats piled high and served open faced on Texas toast . You get one third pound each of beef brisket , pulled pork , smoked chicken , German Sausage , and one Midwesterner ( their smoked Brisket meatball ).
Their German Sausage is all made in house ; they grind and mix their own small batch with no MSG , nitrates , or other chemicals . The Jalapeño Mac and Cheese was the perfect blend of cheesy spiciness .
They are open Thursday , Friday , and Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm and they offer catering seven days a week . Also , on Thursday and Friday , they offer lunch specials from 11 am to 2 pm . For weekly specials , you can get Smokin ’ Tacos on Thursday , Pineapple Express on Friday , and Moroccan Chicken and Rice . We didn ’ t get to try these yet , but we hope to be back to have them all soon !
The Smokin ’ Tacos come with three soft corn tortillas filled with over one third pound of meat , topped with cilantro lime slaw , and served with a side of seasoned black beans and house-made salsa . For the tacos , you can choose either chicken , pulled pork , or brisket . The Pineapple Express is one half pound of smoked meat , served open faced on Texas toast and covered in their scratch-made caramelized onions and pineapple . It ’ s topped with their new spicy sweet BBQ sauce and comes with your choice of slaw and a side . The Moroccan Chicken and Rice is their special cream mixture with a generous amount of smoked chicken over a bed of rice .
Ya ’ ll , we tried a TON of food , but we are not complaining one bit . This place is a gem and we are thrilled that we have a new BBQ spot in the Spokane Valley to help us get our meat fix !
