Biography Ermioni Natsi is an architect who was born in Greece and studied architecture in the U. K. She currently lives and works in Switzerland and deals with architectural and urban planning projects of various scales, emphasizing sustainable and innovative solutions that lead to energy efficiency savings.
Biography Christina Doumpioti is an architect with working experience in Greece and the UK. Since 2009 she is a lecturer at the Architectural Association, London. Her research and teaching focuses on material thinking and their manifold role in architecture. She is member of the Ocean Research Association.
Talk Cities are more than what we see or what we experience through our everyday lives. They consist of invisible agents responsible for air quality, humidity, temperature, dust or light intensity. We envision a future where the built environment is informed and formed by environmental data in order to create resilient environments for their citizens. We propose to visualize a city capable to anticipate and to respond to data, as well as to communicate information to raise people ' s awareness and engagement.
