The Jung Center Gallery is presenting  the exhibition, Visions: A Celebration of the Creativity of The Jung Center Community. Once a year, The Jung Center showcases the artwork of its students, members, instructors, volunteers and staff. The artists work in a variety of media to explore their own inner journeys and find meaning in everyday life. On view: June 17 - July 28 Gallery reception: Saturday, June 27, 5:00 - 7:00 pm   Dear reader as you have probably noticed, we have new changes with this publication. In order to please our art community better, the production is in now in black and white, still with a professional graphic design and lay out. We believe that you, the public, needs information and knowledge about our visual art scene here in our city. However, for those still interested in color and the well use of the technology easily accessible in your hands, you can look and search for everything with just a click on your cell, tablet or Lap top. Let us present the new adventure called “Pearlart." Why pearl? Pearl is about beauty, perfection, the sublime, and excellency. Yes, this is our interest, to let you know about those particular works of art which in one way or another carry those high standard qualities. Additionally I would like to inform the readers that as an artist painter, I just started a very friendly relationship with Samara Gallery. They have taken consignment with one of my new paintings “Clara.” The portrait is of my wife, and they want to observe art gallery viewer’s reactions in the process of the upcoming months. Talent = It is that thing that someone does quickly, easily, that they can "go with the flow" and enjoy it, and mostly through drawing and painting. Mastery = Through the practice and repetition of creativity through the work of art. 3- If the art does not move you, does not touch you, and does not force you to have a connection then it fails. 4- The purpose of art is to amplify our concept of our reality, to give a new meaning to life, and to understand life better. 5- Art must give visibility and presence to ideas, emotions, and situations. 6- Good art invents a language which is able to transcend the moment that it was created, and does not brake that eternal line where art must live. 7- Fine arts are generally always looking for harmony and beauty.
