Around The World Around The World | Page 5

Talking to Natalia; a travel lover gave us an idea of what could be some amazing places to visit around the world, this is a small list of some cities, but to star it’s okay. She has visited five countries of different continents, such as Europa, Asia and Africa, which was Thailand, Vietnam Cambodia, Switzerland and finally Morocco. The reason why she decided to talk about this five countries is because she is living right now in Madrid, Spain and took advantage of the place where she is staying and began a trip each weekend she can. She is finishing her studies and that’s why she can only travel on the weekends.

To start in order of travelling, during the visiting in Thailand she went to the capital; Bangkok, and Phuket, the island. Apparently the traffic is not only heavy in Colombia, but in Bangkok also, there were many vehicles, buses, taxis and a new methods of transportation, is the tuk tuk, that is a bicitaxi, well new for her, but not in the city. Basically, in Hanoi; capital of Vietnam and Siem Reap, in Cambodia, the traffic was the same, in some of them noisier than the others but almost the same. One particular thing was an excessive amount of motorcycles in Hanoi, there were more motorcycles than people in the streets.

Another important thing to mention is the temple, each country has its own God, and in every place, there are a lot of temples, what makes the difference is the influence each city had, the most were the influence from the India and China. This is what make them different from other temples.

Making a jump to Switzerland, arriving to Berna and Zermatt, what caught her attention was the cost of everything, it’s too expensive if you are in plans with friends and no parents that can pay for the trip, so in order not to spent too much money, Natalia and her friends went to cheaper place to eat and think twice if they want to buy something, because of the price, obviously! In the other hand, as every sport the first time you try it, it will be difficult, but with practice everything seems easier. She fell down couple of times but go through it.

Cuisine of Morocco is highly diversified. Moroccan coast line is nearly 3000 km long. Why am I telling you this? Because every few hundred kilometers the food changes. There are certain things you should not eat in certain regions. There are certain things that you can eat only in the region and you should taste them once there. Let me take you for a culinary journey across the country and discover the typical Moroccan food.

Bissara is a very popular soup in Morocco. It’s made of green peas or broad bean with a good amount of olive oil. Typically eaten with bread. You can find it in all Morocco, but it is people from Tanger who appreciate it the most.

This is how we close this chapter and can open a second chapter with Natalia’s next trip; Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai, that would be amazing, hope she know a lot of each city and enjoy each moment.
