NTFB Launches New Volunteer Process
Thanks to VolunteerHub, an innovative web-based technology that streamlines volunteer registration and reporting, the North Texas Food Bank’ s Volunteer Experience team will be able to effectively schedule and coordinate the 36,000 + volunteers that donate their time and service to the Food Bank each year.
Once registered in VolunteerHub, volunteers will have the flexibility to search, register and sign up for an opportunity of their choosing. The system will send a confirmation email and a friendly reminder prior to the event. When a volunteer arrives for their shift, they will check in at a kiosk where all of their registration information that they had previously filled out will be uploaded to the reporting database. Eliminating hours of data entry, Food Bank staff can now review volunteer information that is refreshed every 15 minutes. To see current volunteer opportunities, please visit ntfb. org / volunteer.
