Because of you, Dave and his neighbors can make ends meet.
Whenever Dave * visits the North Texas Food Bank partner pantry in his neighborhood, he wants to know how he can help.
When the truckloads of food arrive at the pantry, he’ s always willing to lend a hand unloading.“ I told them I’ m available whenever they need it,” he says.
Dave, who works in real estate, started visiting the partner pantry after a neighbor encouraged him to go. The cost of living in their Southern Dallas neighborhood— and everywhere— was making it tough for them to cover their bills. Dave agreed to join his neighbor one week and has returned several times since.
With five people at home, including his wife, older sister, and his niece and her husband, Dave says having access to additional groceries to feed their household is a huge help.
“ Everything is great— meat, vegetables, fruit,” he says.“ This is great for the neighborhood. I’ m able to use the money we save on other things.”
Dave is thankful for friends like you who are making a difference in his community.“ Your donation is going to a worthy cause,” he says.“ There are people in the neighborhood who need it.”
