Empowering Veterans One Meal at a Time

Your generosity provides healthy food for Army veterans like Traci.

Traci, a proud U. S. Army veteran, knows what it means to take on tough battles. After serving her country, she now faces a different kind of challenge: navigating higher living expenses without a higher income to match.
“ Rent, food, my electric bill, gas for my car— it’ s all gotten so much more expensive,” Traci shares.
With help from one of North Texas Food Bank’ s feeding partners— and thanks to friends like you— Traci is finding the resources she needs to stay on top of her living expenses and health. She’ s especially thankful for fresh produce.
Every week, North Texas Food Bank delivers more than 2 million meals to neighbors like Traci. From Army veterans and older adults to working parents and their families, your support empowers our neighbors to live healthy and build better futures for themselves.
Traci’ s appreciation for the food and support she receives is heartfelt:
“ I just want to say thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is very needed and very appreciated.”
