Hope Over Hunger This Holiday Season Friends Against
Hunger
Your support is critical this time of year as we prepare for the increased need NTFB’s Indian American
Council feeds North Texas
neighbors
The North Texas Food Bank’s Indian
American Council (NTFB-IAC) was
formed in September 2017 to raise
hunger awareness and improve
engagement from the Indian-American
community toward NTFB’s mission.
Within two years, the NTFB-IAC has
enabled more than 4.25 million meals
and counting.
We depend on people like you to help us keep
the shelves stocked for hungry families.
Thank you for making sure families in North Texas
won’t go hungry this holiday season.
Part of the NTFB-IAC is “Friends
Against Hunger,” a Frisco-based
group organized and led by Suresh
Potluri. The group celebrates their
friendship by committing to enable
meals through volunteering every
quarter at the Food Bank and
conducting canned food and peanut
butter drives.
“This holiday season, we urge
everyone to give a little to impact
the many who are food insecure,”
says Suresh.
Even children can give back! The
NTFB-IAC is spearheading the
Change Makers program, where
children can visit the Perot Family
Campus in Plano, purchase a piggy
bank and begin collecting money.
Each quarter, it can be brought back
to the Food Bank to be counted
and donated.

involved, visit ntfb.org/IAC.
Children can have healthy, nutritious
holiday meals, thanks to you.
