North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation, and you can help us reach our goal of providing 2.4 million meals this day. You’re giving children the best gift of all: nourishment so they can learn and grow 22nd Annual DFW Restaurant Week Now – Monday, September 2 The 22nd Annual DFW Restaurant Week, presented by Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers, will take place during the month of August and is the single largest culinary event in the Dallas–Fort Worth area showcasing North Texas as a premier dining destination. It provides diners the opportunity to enjoy special lunch and dinner menus at the area’s finest restaurants, while raising money for local charities, like the North Texas Food Bank. Hunger Action Day Thursday, September 12 Each year, the North Texas Food Bank participates in Feeding America’s nationwide Hunger Action Month in September and Hunger Action Day on September 12. This campaign mobilizes the community to take action on the issue of hunger. Over the years, iconic Dallas skyscrapers have turned orange, canned food drives have been held and partial proceeds at restaurants have been donated. To get involved, visit ntfb.org/HAM. 6th Annual Harvest Friday, September 20 Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden For one night only, Harvest will transform the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden into an elegant night where North Texans will enjoy culinary cuisine while taking a stand against hunger in our community. The 6th Annual Harvest will feature a movable open-air feast, specialty cocktails, entertainment and auction items. To purchase tickets, visit ntfb.org/harvest.
