the nation, and you can help us reach our goal of providing
2.4 million meals this day. It’s easy to schedule gifts online
ahead of time beginning September 9 and keep up with
the excitement on Giving Day, September 19. Together, we
can provide nutritious meals to hungry children, seniors

22nd Annual DFW Restaurant Week
Now – Monday, September 2
The 22nd Annual DFW Restaurant Week, presented by
Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers, will take place during the
month of August and is the single largest culinary event in
the Dallas–Fort Worth area showcasing North Texas as a
premier dining destination. It provides diners the opportunity
to enjoy special lunch and dinner menus at the area’s finest
restaurants, while raising money for local charities, like
the North Texas Food Bank. For the list of participating
restaurants, visit ntfb.org/restaurantweek.
Your gifts help children focus at
school AND grow strong.
Our programs feed children when they aren’t
at school so they can succeed when they are.
Thank you for helping fill stomachs so
their bodies and minds can grow!
Hunger Action Day
Thursday, September 12
Each year, the North Texas Food Bank participates in
Feeding America’s nationwide Hunger Action Month in
September and Hunger Action Day on September 12. This
campaign mobilizes the community to take action on the
issue of hunger. Over the years, iconic Dallas skyscrapers
have turned orange, canned food drives have been held
and partial proceeds at restaurants have been donated.
To get involved, visit ntfb.org/HAM.
6th Annual Harvest
Friday, September 20
