Next came “Warsaw” and “Krakow”, the two cities to conclude my trip in Poland. I dropped by Warsaw for just 12 hours before boarding the express train to Krakow, the old capital city of Poland.
When comparing the two cities, I personally prefer Krakow due to its many castles, royal palaces, churches and historic buildings. Krakow is also near “Auschwitz”, one of the largest Nazi concentration camps. I was able to see signs of the cruelty against the Jewish people, and it filled me with the greatest sorrow in my life. Nonetheless, the camp is a part of the history of the human race and it reflects the horrors of war.
