UP FRONT

Help shape the future

Ealing Council is going to be putting together a blueprint for shaping the future of the borough for the next 15-20 years . It wants you to get involved and have your say . The Ealing Local Plan will be pieced together over the next two years ; and this is the first stage . In effect , the Local Plan will be a local guide to what can be built where . For example , it will affect how , where and when the council will allow new housing or development , where and how green spaces and our heritage can be protected ; and assess what community facilities might be needed . At this stage , the council wants you to give your views to help it put together a draft plan . From September , you will be able to go to www . ealing . gov . uk / consultations and go to the Give My View survey . Then , once a draft plan is put together , there will be a series of public consultations on it – before a final plan is finally in place in winter 2023 .
